Unless the remodel has them actually attractive to me and taller I doubt they'll become more appealing.
On human companion note: I hope he has black hair. Both male LIs in DA were blondes for some reason...
I did fall for Zevran, but that was on writing/ voice acting. Which is why I also would be interested in a Varric romance even though I don't much care for his looks. I'm sure it would be well done.
