We are the Varric Fans. You will be assimilated.

When did I hear that before...

Oh, yeah, those religious folk that come to my door every two weeks or so.

"They were very nice, they left pamphlets."

All I got were these nanobots, and this itchy connection to the hive mind.

You ser, are my new hero (not my God. Varric owns that)

Superman hero, or William Wallace hero?

What the hell have I gotten myself into?

FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't think that Mary would let us languish for 350+ pages of Varric thread if he wasn't.

Why do people keep saying this? Mary would crush you all and then laugh.

Her PR might be great, because she seems awful nice.

Canadian evil is much more innocuous than regular evil, maybe.

I didn't think Canadians could be evil.. or maybe their version of evil is our version of good. It's so hard to tell, being in the wrong hemisphere and all.

Oh and both for me too, though I tend to lean more towards the Han Solo side. I'm *hoping* Varric has a few hints of Han Solo's personality.

Those of  us in the northern U.S. states corrupt them.  We're good at that.

She's not?

Maybe she's just American and therefore considered very evil by Canadian standards.

I'm a bigger fan of Indiana Jones, but I wouldn't mind Han Solo Image IPB

This is why people in the UP and Minnesota aren't real Americans. *nods*

Being from Michigan's lower peninsula, I second that.

I'm hoping there will be literal bromance and sismance relationships, seeing as Carver and Bethany are both companions. (that was not meant to sound incestuous in ANY way)

Thedas' answer to Sagacious Zu. Ideally human... unless they've made elves taller.

I can't help but want an elf. Maybe as the female LI this time? But she must be at least a little attractive as far as personality goes. No Velanna for me, oh no. Face wise? Don't really care. Would like a red-head, properly crimson instead of ginger, but other then that I'm fine.

I've heard that Canadians are remarkably polite. Although I have to say that some of the responses from Gaider make me think otherwise. But I might take that back, because he does say "please" when calling someone a b-i-t-c-h.

Canadians are fellow subjects of Her Majesty, the Queen, and thus superior by default.

After prowling the forums for over a year I finally felt compelled to reply to this post.

Personally if Varric is an LI I will feel seriously short-changed, no pun intended. He seems like an entertaining companion but as a love interest there is nothing appealing not even his famed chest hair.

I hope the writers don't cave in to Varric's popularity on the forums and make him an LI like what happened with Garrus cause that was a disaster.

If worse comes to worst and he is an LI I hope they at least give us 2 other f/m LI's.

When it comes to Li's I dont have a specific idea on what I would like so I will let Bioware surprise me cause they havent disappointed me soo far if I just ignore some of the ME 2 male LI's.

For the M/M, I want a slightly older, experianced man, who maybe you have to go after for a while before he starts to see you as a romanceable option rather than a kid.

For the F/M I'd like a handsome nerd.
