I want blue eyes. We've had tons of male LIs with brown eyes. I'd also argue that DA:O was the first game we were ever given a blond male LI. The rest have had dark hair (save Valen who had red). It would be nice to have a dark-colored and a fair-colored guy to choose from.

I haven't gotten too far into DA:O, so don't shoot me, buuuuttt...

Alistair irritates me.

There's snarky and funny and then there is annoying. So far, he's just annoying. I'm hoping that Varric is romanceable for my female char., and an interesting buddy for my male. Also, I like Shale... I want him in the game. Now.

The vague possibility of this is the only reason I've preordered. Which makes me a sad case of a fangirl I suppose. 

There's nothing else I've seen so far that's even a bit interesting to me.  Hopefully that will change with some more char reveals...hopefully.

I am hoping, as well.  It simply can't be possible that they make a DA game with characters as dull as Mass Effect's.

Yes on fish lamp and Anders, and I'm quietly rooting for a Qunari because I've had a few non-Dragon-Age-initiated friends stumble across the trailers and demand that I tell them more about the beefy brooding grey horned guys because they want one with the flaming passion of a thousand suns. Whatever it takes to get other people on the same nerdy page as me...
