Saren is dead, or is he?

We all saw saren die at the end of Mass Effect 1.
But is that the end of him really?
Saren Arterius has access to advance technology such as cloning and cybernetics which could have been used to make a clone or copy of himself in the event that he becomes incapacitated. This replica of him could have been created at a secret base other than virmire.
It is also possible that when escaping, Saren captured Ashley or Kaiden (depending on who you saved) and turned them indoctrinated slaves to serve him, maybe kept at the "secret base".
Thoughts people?

You can imagine anything you want but unless there is solid proof behind you words it all is just speculation.

If that ever happens in this series I will personally kidnap the writers, lock them in a room and force them to listen to Justin bieber until their brains explode or they kill themselves. Saren need to stay dead.

Sovereign-Saren was NOT a holographic projection. Sovereign activated the implants in Saren's body (those were implanted by him as Saren told before the first fight) then downloaded (at least a part of) himself into the re-animated body. Then he was destroyed by Shepard and Co. As it happen suddenly Sovereign could not upload himself back (or the downloaded parts) that rendered his main body vulnerable as the shield went down and was not capable to move. Then he was executed by the Arcturus fleet, killshot by Normandy SR-1. That is the story.
Saren was DEAD before Sovereign interveened, especially with the paragon solution (suicide). So, no Saren will (should not) come back. A clone is always possible, but would be cheap.
Sovereign as a whole also cannot come back, but parts of it, or affection of its parts, technologies used may be ab el to function somehow and make impact on the story, but Sovereign, the harbinger is no more.
Deal with it.

Yeah, but Saren has never been resurrected in ME3.Da_Lion_Man wrote...
Resurrecting a character has been done before, nothing imaginative about it.

Does he need to? It's really quite silly to resurrect a character for no apparent reason.

You don't know that. The writer's can do whatever they want. Who is to say that Cerberus won't resurrect Saren if you took the choice of blowing up the Collector's base at the end of ME2? We already know Cerberus is doing tests with Reaper technology. Maybe they salvaged parts of Sovereign and were able to retrieve Sarens' lost consciousness from them. Then they could just build him a mechanical body, and they got Saren in replacement of Shepard to do whatever they want.

If Bioware plans on resurrecting him, and he plays an important part in the story, would it matter?
