Hi all, have decided to restart playing (again) however in trying to create the additional members for my starting party the game CTD's when i select the option to create new party members. The last game i played i didn't create any additional party members so didn't come across this problem.

Any suggestions?

Please don't tell me to uninstall/reinstall and patch, that will take me forever.

Do you have any characters in your Local Vault folder that needed certain haks/overrides to create and extra files are no longer there? The CTD is the result of this. Try moving out any character files in your local vault except for your current party members, then try to make a new one in game.

The first thing to do is get every character out of your Local Vault directory that was created using any mod you don't currently have installed (Kaedrin's etc.).

Were you trying to create brand new characters from scratch at the Party Editor menu, or were you looking to Import characters who were previously made and stored on your local vault?

i was trying for either but the problem has now been solved by clearing out the local vault and starting from new.
