Hello,
I've been having a very frustrating time with installing this game. I have all 3 expansion packs - Storm of Zehir kept telling me I had the wrong CD key. I sent in a ticket regarding this. Onto the current problems.
I installed NWN 2 - the game had an issue installing Direct X. It could not install Direct X but it continued to install the game.

Update on Storm of Zehir CD Key. I copied the email direct from the website regarding faulty CD keys and it bounces back saying I sent it to the wrong account. I'm nearing my wits end and I've only owned this game for 5 hours.

Further more, I can't seem to contact anyone in tech support. I clicked on the BioWare Game Support and it brings me to EA's site. It doesn't even list NWN 2 as one of their games.
I clicked on "Email Us" and again, I'm returned to EA's login. I search for Neverwinter Nights 2, again nothing.
How can I get in touch with Tech Support?!

I know no one has responded yet but fortunately, things are working out a bit. I called EA since the links below referring me to them. I spoke to Tech Support and now my game isn't crashing (yet).
I still can't resolve the issue with Storm of Zehir. I'll keep trying.
Who can I contact to get a new CD key?

I feel for ya. Keep going like you are. This game is well worth it.
Luckily, I haven't had any problems, but I'll see if my luck changes when I build my new rig this coming week (i7, Win 7 64 bit).
Keep us updated as you solve your problems.
Cheers.
Ooops. As a side note, after reading several threads before doing the build, I'd install the latest DiirectX 9.0c (redistributable) directly from Microsoft and make sure you've installed the latest .NET (3.5, at least).

I am surprised EA tech support was able and willing to help seeing as NWN2 is an Obsidian game. I am glad they seem to have gotten you past some of your problems though. I fear I have nothing to add personally as I still cling to Windows XP.

Do a search on Microsoft for the DirectX 9.0c redistributable file. Run this and it should care for the earlier version that you need.
