Hi,
I seem to recall reading that I need to pre-order to get the signature edition of DA2 which includes DLC, will I be able to get all that DLC later on? Or do I have to pre-order?
Thanks
If I don't pre-order will I ever be able to get the pre-order DLC?

No definite answer but it's very likely it'll be purchasable after the game's release.

If Dragon Age: Origins is anything to go by, then the additional party member will be available as pay DLC. Probably on day one.

I can't imagine they won't be selling it. I believe the reason they're using for the pre-order is because you will get it "free*".
*Or, at least, that is supposed to be the plan.

Ah good, all right, thanks. I prefer to buy all my games through Steam, so I'll just wait until it comes out there =D

Don't hold your breath
EA is "boycotting" Steam so there's a chance it won't even be on Steam sadly.

EA isn't boycotting Steam. Dragon Age Ultimate Edition hit there just a month ago.

I'm gonna wait for the Steam version right up until Jan 10. If it isn't up by then, I'll go with a different vendor.

Well, semi-boycotting. It looks like they're keeping all their new games off Steam like the new Need for Speed game and DA2.

That's what I always thought
, I don't care all that much though, steam is nice, but are other, and usually cheaper, places to get games, was just pointing it out.

I'm not sure the absence of two games, one of which won't be out for another four months, is evidence enough for me.

Believe what you want, I'm not trying to prove anything. But I doubt EA is keeping games/preorders off Steam just because they can.

Mmm, I've seen DA:O, and Awakenings out for quite a while in my country, and the ultimate pack is just new -- I do hope it comes out on Steam!

has there been any word on whether or not there'll be extra content if you buy new? Like Shale. If they do I assume that'll be separate to the pre-order stuff?
