I doubt it. I remember the day when that module was posted in the vault: there was that mod that you say and another one that was very similar (and the creator of that one is called "the snapple"...).  I'm almost sure that he usurped the name of Adam Miller so his mod would attract more attention.

Maybe that is the explanation of why the module isn't approved yet

I think Xenovant is right to doubt the authenticity of this "Adam Miller" entry.

It was posted along with two other ones on Friday:
* Urgorath the great escape from dungeon slax by Snapple (BioWare World Design Contest)
* The Snapple by Adam Miller (City Adventure)
* The End by Differ (Humorous/Parody)

The first two were not approved but apparently all of the three modules were now submitted on the Vault page of the latter.

Don't bother downloading unless you want fire to send to the Admins of the Vault to let them know of the graphic, sodomy module they are. It seems to stem from a few bad builders or one builder who was not happy with low votes for their module.

You can read all about it here in the first three threads.

Wish I knew what module they're talking about. A link in the first thread goes here where the comments that started all of this seem to be from on the Vault and from what I gather reading the above threads, it's a module made by a The-Holy-One but there is no such user on the NWN Module side of the Vault, so I can't find the damn thing. I want to download and play it to see what all the fuss is about.

Thanks for the warning, FP! I figured there was something fishy going on when the author pretended the mod was better than many on the Vault but did not even allow votes, and then also submitted a module by someone else just to name and shame it ...

A troll in nwvault... I have been playing nwn since it came out in 2002 and I have been entering in nwvault everyday since then and I NEVER saw a troll there, this guy it's the first. If I were the Admin of the Vault I would ban his usernames and IPs FOREVER ¬¬'

Uh, no, he's far from the first. There's a few different types, too, from the 'vote everyone else's mod but mine down', the 'too many people voted 10 so I'm voting 1', and 'I'm bitter because you didn't make the edit I wanted', 'I'm a defrocked dm out for revenge', 'vote for my content or I'm pulling it all down', 'I can't make this scriptset work because I don't feel like reading the directions so I'm voting 1 until you help me', and so on. The list goes on, and on, and on. I'm not going to go into names, since at least one of them is still active on these boards, and I don't want to stir up drama.

Again, no. There've been plenty that, as I noted above, voted down every persistent world but their own, or every scriptset, or module.The first time I saw this happen was back in 2005, and I'm quite certain that wasn't the first. This is not new, and it's sort of silly to argue about.

Thanks for telling us what entry that was, so we can all go to that Vault site now and vote 10.00 to compensate for the 'false' vote you gave!

The-Holy-One had his modules voted down by trolls. He reported them and they were banned:

I just checked the module titled "The End" that was made by the trolls and I am most certainly not downloading it after I saw Loghain in bed with King Calian.

If you think that I am troll because of voting like this, then you would be nothing better if you would voted to compensate my vote. Anyway, I would "normally" voted like 3 or 4 points.

Well, I was using the term loosely, but that is NOT how the site is supposed to work. You're supposed to vote, not meta-vote. Granted, their rating system is broken, but there's no reason to break it further.

Strange thing is that whenever you get rating of 1 you are very mad and mark this as trolling. But you do not mind that dozens of peoples voted with the rule "screenshots looks good, I like it therefore 10". I won't name but one particular man here gets always at least ten votes from the players of his PW who does that only to support him. Thats exactly the same.

Well, I guess we can all agree that not every vote given on the Vault is honest and justified but two wrongs don't make a right. We can't control what other people are thinking and doing, so the only thing we can do is set a good example, be honest and just ourselves and try to not fall into the same trap.

Btw, who said a vote of 1 is always marked as trolling and all authors would get very angry at it? It's the circumstances that count. But you should also keep in mind that everything at the Vault is for free and that people invested time in their creations without getting paid for it. I think there actually is a difference between giving someone more praise than they might objectively deserve and bashing someone for something they created and decided to share. To most authors constructive feedback is more valuable than votes anyway, so if you give something a bad vote, at least explain in detail why and what the authors could do to improve their work. And if you think someone is only out for votes and there's a conspiracy going on with the goal of making their scandalous module the top-rated, you should inform the admininstrators instead of trying to take matters into your own hand. 

In the example you mentioned, were those voters actually players of the PW or just people who looked at the screenshots? If they were players how would you know they only knew the content from looking at the screenshots? And what is so wrong with people supporting each other? A detailed and objective comment about why you think the content isn't all that good does a lot more to counteract inappropriate ratings than just a low vote.
