this one. I am stupid. I can't understand how I can make my character use one of those armors. I've checked the readme, but maybe due to the fact that English is not my language, I am more confused than before. Can someone help me, please? With basic instructions that even a child could understand. Yes, I am feeling totally stupid

Hmm. I can't seem to get that page to load. Can you perhaps copy the readme instructions here?

Sorry Vaalyah, I couldn't find the readme outside of the downloads (and this laptop won't take the strain of any serious DLs) and only found that the files should go in the Override Directory. It looks like you might have to edit the .bic files and insert the armor numbers in there, but I've never messed with those either and am completely ignorant on the subject.
Hopefully someone more interested in making their characters wear Kewl Armors will pop in and provide you some help.
sorry, dunniteowl

There aren't any blueprints in there, just models, as far as I can tell. So you have to make a blueprint (in the Toolset) of an item you want to use with an appearance you want it to have.
As far as changing the appearance of an item in-game, well that would be more complicated. Perhaps using the CopyItemAndModify function (not sure exactly how that works in practice). But really, you're best off just replicating the item in question in the Toolset and changing the appearance there.

use the xp_craft nwnx plugin ( which means a PW ), or making blueprint toolset are your only options. Grinning Fool did some plugins for making items look right i seem to remember for the toolset. After you have an item, then you can give to yourself via chat command in game.

Ok, maybe I had not explained well what I need. I just want a decent-looking armor for my PC. Just for aesthetic purposes. I am totally ignorant about the processes you described, I'm a total noob, so please, I just want to put one of those armors in my game and let my PC wears it.
How should I do? A step by step guide for idiots, thanks :-D

And once you get it working if you want to keep the look but update the stats, this is a great, easy-to-use mod. Or if it doesn't absolutely HAVE to be those armors in particular, there are some ones you can create withi a very simple console command included in the "must have mods" sticky here.

Vaalyah,
Are you still in the dark about this or are you now an item-making pro?
All those items are available in the game without messing around with the Toolset. Unzip the LineageArmorArms_v2.30.zip file, then the LineageArmorArms_PART_2_V2.38_SOZ.zip file; then move all the files from the PART 2 into the original folder and subfolders, overwriting the originals with the same name. Then take the whole folder and put it in your C:\\Users\\*VAALYAH*\\Documents\\Neverwinter Nights 2\\override\\ folder. You should be able to use it immediately.
One possible issue - it adds many new icons which requires the new nwn2_icons.2DA file provided. This may interfere with other mods you already have - but you can combine them just by copying in the new lines from one to the other (the Lineage lines are 2751-2822).
To add an item in the game, click and right-click on your character; hit ` (you remember how, right?) then debugmode 1. Then giveitem nwn_imperialarmor for example. The item names are all the .uti files you will see in the LineageArmorArms_v2.30 folder and subfolders.
If you want to play with them in the Toolset, that's easy too. Although they're spread out all over using the original NWN2 classifications, they all have resrefs beginning nwn_. So, in the Toolset, click on Blueprints, then Items; then type nwn_ in the Filter box, check the Resref button, then click in the big box and they will all appear.
This may all be old hat to you by now, but I did want to thank you for pointing out that link. I thought I had all the models, but I missed this one somehow.

Sorry, guys, my mum had an accident and in the latest days I still hadn't any time to play or have a look at this forum. Thank you all for your suggestions, I will have a try at them as soon as I'll be able to find 2 free minutes!
Thank you I_Raps, because that was just the kind of explanation I needed: easy and without complications :-D So I just have to substitute the file names while using the console windows (yes, I remember about that :-P )!
