Considering what we see as Dwarves are fantasy characters you would be unlikely to see a game based around them when most either give you the option or let you play as something else.

Hell even the Warcraft games you played from a Human/Orc perspective even though Dwarves were apart of the ideology.

There are more noticable games where you play as ducks.

Dammit. Now you have me searching for a game protagonized by dwarves. I'll find it, and it'll be awesome, for awesome is what dwarf means!

Still, Heather does a much better job at selling the game that all those marketing suits. At least I can sit through the whole interview without being repulsed by hot rod samurais and spartan generals.

Indeed, Heather did a great job at actually promoting the game. It's as if previous marketing was all shuffle, shuffle, swipe at the consumer (hohum) while she made it feel like we were part of the excitement and being hit with something new.

Only negative about the interview as a whole was that there wasn't any new video footage of the game to go with it. I'm really tired of seeing that same movie pieced into every interview.

I almost said Lost Vikings, but.. they were just Vikings.

I mean that would be like calling Mario a Dwarf

This interview  makes the almost total departure from Dragon's Age Origins seem like......

no, I thought I could do it..

guess not.

Iet's look at the Packaging  and or delivery system'   If its  cute,  clever, and "Palinesque" maybe no  one  will notice what is really going on  until its too late...

It worked for Call of Duty...

Look at the sales

Now look at the user feedback.

T a s t y.

Yuni<3

PS I, (possibly alone) dodged the COD bomb..So I know it can be done. (If you know what I mean).

Thank you. Yes, it was from the time when Blizzard was named Silicon and Synapse, and made clever puzzle/platformer games. They were Vikings, which in gameland are basically tall dwarven berserkers. Or was it that dwarves are basically short, ironclad vikings? Either way, both are awesome.

Call of Duty 4 was awesome, and it was right in the model of ****ting out call of duty games every year

That line is so cheesy..it makes me laugh every time I hear it.  Heather did a great job and I didn't have to hear any of the PR rhetoric. :D So I'm happy.

Dwarves don't hide, they wait for the looters to come to bash looters' heads. It's more comfortable than having to go out to pick a fight, you just have them fights come home.

Show this video to anyone else attempting to go in front of a camera or in front of a phone to talk about the game and tell them to take notes on how to market the game! :)

I tried this once in Ghost Recon, fight never came because they were doing the same thing.

And believe me its much more comfortable actually fighting than the constant adrenaline of waiting for your prey to come and get you.  Would drive you mad

Trust me, if you lived where I live, you'd understand the benefits of staying at home rather than freezing your arse on the open sea.

But we should drop this derail before Heather awesomeness gets locked because of our ramblings.
