my pc has
the fire line
the walking bomb line
spellwisp + grease
arcane bolt
first three glyphs
so pretty much i have some nice AoE and crowd control
so for morrigan, i was thinking to give her the whole ice line...the crushing prison line and one of the death magic lines
either the curse of mortality of the sleep one, which is better?
also how should i invest my attribute points
for leliana should i make her a ranger of a dual weild?
it seems to me that duel weild would be better since most battles are very melee
in that case should i pump up strength and dexterity, or dexterity and cunning?
which talents should i get? the mastery dual weild line?

I honestly don't know how viable it is to make Leliana DW since it seems like a bit of a waste to let the archery talents she comes with go to waste, I went with the archery tree and maxing her lockpicking & bard talents. She provided a nice, steady source of damage once you get a good bow while buffing me and Alistair with her songs.

Leliana is an archer to start with, its best if you keep her that way. Or you can take a hit on her talents and spec the remaining points into DW. The choice is yours. Her stats, either way, should go into Dex and Cunning, imo.
If you want to go DW then go duelist and still pump dex and cunning, I believe duelist has a talent that allows cunning to become your new 'STR' stat (though i could be wrong, dont have the game up atm).

NOTE: I have not tried this yet, so I may be mistaken. It's worth exercising your google-fu.

You need like 20 strength to wear some of the best light armor in the game. I'm not sure why you'd want to put heavy armor on Leliana since rogues have so many activated skills--you'd burn through her stamina and leave her auto-attacking.

won't archery be underpowered since like all the fights are melee?

Huh? Are we playing the same game? It seems like every group I encounter has a contingent of archers.

Monster archers are extremely dangerous because there are a LOT of them, and more so because late game they can all scattershot. Unless you figure out a way to stick 6 archers in your group, the same does not apply to you.

Archery kind of sucks, but with Leliana you have to keep in mind that she will probably be your lockpicker. Plus, you're probably going to have auras running from her bard spec, so not only are you going to be low on talents to make a viable dagger build you're also going to have low stamina, and probably a very mediocre health score. After considering all those factors I really don't think it's worth the micromanagement to turn her around and make her melee.
Especially not when Zevran comes primed for melee.

what i meant was...there are archers but there are also melee in every fight

She's not necessarily in trouble in that situation. She has access to a number of stuns and a Bard song for crowd control.

Also, she'll have lockpicking, stealth, and trapmaking for added utility.

Specializations : whatever you prefer, the spells/modes you pick for her matter more
Modes : Flaming weapons (for undeads), Telekinetic Weapons (for heavily armored), Frost weapons (for others)
Spells : Level 1 heal + fireball/blizzard are a must, so are cone of frost and crushing prison
Leleina
Specializations : bard + duelist
Modes : Aim/Defensive fire for bosses, Rapid shot otherwise
Talents : The whole archery line (all 12 talents) is great, especially Scattershot and Defensive fire
Focus on Dex/Str for Leleina, Mag/Wil for Morrigan (doh)
Leleina + Morrigan = 90% of the kills in my parties if I wanted
Leleina almost tanked Javira for me, and both of them + my tank can make it so that mages never get a single spell off
