In my party Leliana (archer) is just a tool for chests, while Morrigan goes for damager/debilitatr/controller (depending on the situation).

Talents : The whole archery line (all 12 talents) is great, especially Scattershot and Defensive fire

I would disagree, as shattering shot/cripping shot/critical shot, is utterly useless. Arrow of Slaying however, now that's Leli's main use. Mageslayer FTW - just like in the Sacred Ashes trailer xD

For Leliana, I spec'd her as Ranger at level 7 and then Bard at 14. I didn't go past bard Song of Valour in Bard because the rest isn't worth it for what I was using her for - major sustained dps. Ranger and archery talents make her pretty much one of the most powerful dps arsenals on my team.

If you want her as an archer:

Willpower 30
Cunning 30
Everything else into Dex.

I ignored armor - she doesn't get hit, so it's irrelevant.
