I liked him better tanned tho..if thats him.
Me too, and this is coming from someone who hated Zevran's skin! (Because it looked like bleached hair with a bad tan, more wanna-be surfer dude than Spaniard, and the darker complexions in DAO were ugly and mottled like you rubbed cocoa powder on a white person; this caused me to make all my characters fairly pale, which is abnormal for me because I love variety.) Now, with the pure white hair and improved complexions, they could easily get away with medium to dark skin--why make him pale?
Plus, the original concept art was so. very. awesome. Why even change it? How are you going to come up with something more awesome than that?
In the vidcap I will say that I do like the exotic, aristocratic facial features, the hair, and the fact that he's unusually slight. Zevran had such a broad chest before mods; I just didn't feel like it fit an elf. Plus, being skinny makes sense for Meg if he's a slave or even former slave. And the clothes are pretty awesome (are those feathery skeletal gloves on his hands?) as well as the hint of tattooes on his feet. But in any case they should make
something that looks like the concept art because that was super-awesome, and I actually think the outfit he's wearing in the vid looks more mage-y than roguish or warrior-like.
And I miss the blue face tattooes! Those were awe-inspiring. Hopefully the finished Meg is somewhere between the two. I'm not sure yet that that's actually Meg, honestly--if there are often Tevinter slaves in the Free Marches, that could just be a random NPC.

Have
to say that I like the concept (seen in this thread) better than what I
saw in the pic. He was still cute, but I think his concept art is much
hawter. He had more of an edge to his appearance in it. Made him look
more dangerous, maybe?
I expected him to be lean (as seen in
the pic) though. He's an elf. Though muscular, they're not brawny like
the humans. I'm okay with that.
I am *so* with you, woman!

He looked all smoky, intelligent, and urbane... lean and hard and exotic. I wouldn't mind if they gave him white eyebrows or even turned his hair either silver or black, but other than that I think any changes will hurt me just a little, because the original art was so awesome. The facial expression, the nose, the ears, the really cool magical tattooes... it's no wonder they call him Meg as opposed to Ueg (unknown/unidentified elf guy.) Mysterious, indeed!

You know you can't resist the lure of TVTropes.
Now go find out the difference between Batman Gambit and Xanatos Gambit.
If I already know it, is that cool, or sad? Both, maybe?

I just like guys with really high cheekbones and aloof demeanours.
*grins* Ohhhh, yeah. It's too much fun to make a stoic guy come undone. (And speaking of things being "undone," don't you just want to undo that sash and those laces?)
And to the Varric fans--he's not my type, but I will say this. He is unusually attractive for a dwarf, his voice is delectable, and he IS the right height for fun, if you know what I mean.
And on a final, random note... why can I not get the idea out of my head that the man to Isabela's left in the presumed-to-be-Meg vidcap is Zevran?
