I will be so sad if he is not an LI. He looks snarky, I love a snarky LI. And I love an Elf LI, and for what ever reason, as much as I loved Zev, we never worked as a couple. And did anyone else think that Meg had a snarky "hmph" look on his face? I see a roguish jaded sarcasm, an "I've seen it all, and frankly, I wasn't that impressed" thing going on, but then Hawke comes along with the reckless joie de vivre and ambient chaos of a hero, and Meg, like someone trying a chocolate truffle for the first time, is surprised to find, under the fold foil and hard chocolate coating, a novelty, something unexpected, something marvelous, something very tasty; Meg comes to see Hawke as something he both wants to savor and devour, something deserving to be both marveled at and respected, something you should share with the world, but desire to keep all to yourself.

That's just what I'm hoping for, but really since it is David Gaider writing Meg, I'm geussing I'm going to enjoy him regardless of the particulars.

Also I have decided he will always be "Meg" to me, no matter his "real" name. I now dream of riding of into the sunset, on a Derpicorn, with a elf named Meg.

Also I am so sure that this is an unnecessary contribution, but "Squeeeeeeeeeeee!"

I wantz a chocolate truffle:( and that squee contributes to the BIG SQUEE that we are compiling to, so we may unleash it on Gaider, forcing him to give us info:devil:

Yes, I hope they realize that the longer they keep Megformation from us, the longer our collective squees are building up. If they hold out too much longer, Meg fans will have an atomic bomb of squee to unleash. The day they release Megformation... *dramatic music*

I'd rather go with the first one. Lets give it... 70%?

What could point to that?

1. Till now, besides Varric, we weren't shown any male characters that could be LI
2. He is written by DG and although that may be not much of an argument, lets just hope that since he always writes at least one LI character, such could be the case with Meg.
3. He is hot.
4.One could say that he isn't because we already had an elven male LI in Origins and they are somehow similiar in appearance, but devs themselves said that they don't create characters by limiting themselves to what race they have to be.

Alright, I don't have any good points but at least I tried?

ahh.....I can remember the day Alistair was announced romancable. Lucy was ecstatic, followed by five million squees, a declaration of love to a dev, and swear word or two.....imagine Meg's announcement (if there is one)

I actually see Gaider sitting at an organ, Phantom of the Opera style, except the organ plays only squees, and as the squees get louder and louder so does Gaider's maniacal laughter.

In summation, not only does Gaider drink tears, he listens to Squee on his iPod, and gets much joy from it.

Hopefully they'll announce a male LI before the time limit on the SE is up. We already know about Isabella, so it makes sense that they'll introduce us to a guy to catch the interest of people who want to romance one.

They are busy releasing ME 3 trailer!

While it does look awesome (my jaw temperaly dislocated after watching it, which was the worst ever. At least my jaw was intact when I watch DA  II trailer), I would still prefer something from DA II.

I'm actually assuming they will release some info before the deal runs out on the basis that they want as many people to opt-in to the deal as possible, and since it's the kind of people who go wild over a concept and vidcap that are most likely to pre-order, well it just kinda makes sense.

That is unless he is the mystery playable character, in which case we will probably find out about him after the deal is up.

This is all just guess work, but then again this is the Meg forum.

Our Atomic Squee will overload his iPod's volume settings, and when he has to go to the hospital due to eardrum probems, we can break into his office files and read about MEG.

Or at least that he is a, how do you call it? A part of an Elven god, not a child but like a...Sentry?
