No, but that's a very intersting theory. I only went as far as he migh have a name of a elven god but never crossed my mind he could be one.

Well, he looks like a guy with a past, and I doubt all the things that happend in his past where good.
I mean it looks like he killed before, at least I think so from the weary eyes in his concept art. Though I wonder what kind of habits and views he might have picked up...

Whoawhoawhoa.  I've never really followed a single character at the pre-release period of a game, but I am officially hopping aboard this squee bandwagon.
I don't even need a name--I'm completely content with calling him MEG as long as I find out he's romanceable.

Yes, but I remember a lot of people complaining about Oghren I found him funny but anyway.
So I wonder what'll happen when they do it with Meg. But I'm just hoping that Mr. Gaider can make an Elf character that isn't your steroetypical Elf. I liked Zevran because he was kind of unique, and remember it isn't gay when you do it with an elf.

Didn't a lot of sailors go barefoot on ships during the Rennisaince time period, or wherever DA 2's timeline is.

Yes they did. When I first saw his concept art and his look he really did remind me of some sort of pirate or just on Isabellas ship....he did have a pierced ear in his concept and I highly doubt a dalish or someone from the Alienage have that. (Well not that ive seen)
