According to David Gaider, there's still quite a few companions that we've not seen a glimpse of or know nothing about, that will be revealed, so... Since Meg was featured (even just his picture) in a magazine article and a little bit in the Dev Diary, I'm guessing he'll be revealed sooner than later. Maybe *this* Friday?

Are Bethany and Carver confirmed as full-time Companions?  Or are they just temporary compnions in the first chapter and only used as talking points thereafter?

1. He might be the being from beyond the Eluvian mirror (which is very likely to be feature in DA II)
2. He might be one of the Arlathan survivor.
3. He might be some abomination, hence the glowing tattoo.
4. He might be a body snatcher.
5. He might be a possible Fade Spirit. Evil or not? Unsure.
6. He might be an old god (no, not archdemon, we had enough of that, thank you very much.)
7. He might be Shale's another form.
8. He might be Tamlen, should someone managed to save him.
9. He might be a slave of Trevinter Magister ( a lot of people like this theory).
9.1 A possible continue research product after Amgarrak (my theory).
10. He could be a warrior (very likely, since there are way too many mage on that list already)
11. He might owned a unicorn, or a nug as animal companion.
12.
He might be voice (as per various people suggested) by David Tennant,
Michael Fassbender, Christopher Waltz, Greg Ellis, or Karl Urban.
13. He might order White Russian (reflect his look), Bailey, or Jack Daniel (reflect his possible personality) in the bar.
14. He might be a LI that 'push you up against the wall' (am I using the right word here?)(a lot of people like this one, too).

Regarding marks on his face (no, not the glowy one)(is the blue tattoo still there, btw?):
