Sarel had no facial hair.  No elves had facial hair options.

And yeah, I'm bitter, because there is, at no time, any reason to have more than one rogue in your party, unless the other rogue is only there for lock picking.   Though they did remove backstabs, so, whatever.

I won't be using most of the people they have revealed so far in my first playthrough, so call it selfish, I'd like to see more choices with people I will be using.

This guy is an elf. . .we've had 1 warrior elf character, and everyone else has been a mage or a rogue, including npcs (unless you had a Dalish or City Elf Warrior Warden).  Hedging my bets.

Gaider already said he isn't Dalish. Though I do wonder about any connection with Flemeth (doubtful in my opinion).

I kinda like the tattoos, he looks like a dalish elf with the lack of shoes and all, the green is a given too and it seem that there is a trend there, no pants for Isabela. no shoes for this guys, what is next?

Yeah, I'm not sure why there's been so many comments linking him to Flemeth. I don't think we have nearly enough info on the subject to go there yet. What, they both have white hair and a vaguely pointy-fingered gauntlet? So does Cassandra at this point. Could be part of the new overall design scheme.

Thane was designed to be attractive, however, and Garrus was not designed to be a LI. I mean, hell, maybe their popularity will make BioWare take risks with companion appearances, it's definitely possible. But I most certainly get a "LI" vibe from this guy.

The human female in the concept art has the same chin tattoo as this elf guy. Which makes me think he's a city elf. The lack of shoes makes me think he's some sort of acrobat (which would fit in as a rogue specialty, since companions get their own particular specialty). The crow feathers make me think he's a Crow of some sort, either one gone rogue, or... Well, who knows. As for the glowing tattoos on his body.... I dunno, I'm stumped on that one.

I'd say the glow is meant to draw attention to them in the concept, as to avoid someone missing them when traspassing the concept to in-game model.

I think we need an actual screenshot instead of concept art. Concept art can be soooo far off what the character actually looks like.
