There was a white haired elf girl in Denerim, I think. Girl as in child.

Yep, I managed to find her. That's one named character, and one ambient character. So it does have a precendent, even if it's very rare. Both of them had tan skin, I feel it's worth noting.

Alistair won the popularity race in the end. So I'm not concerned. Varric isn't, either. He's too cool for that.

Eh, I don't think DA elves are a so much a free pass for fangirls as most other elf incarnations are.

Anyhow, this is brand new information! the likes of which we haven't seen in months, when it's not relating to stuff they took out of the game or altered. I can't say whether Gunther will remain popular.

Pretty sure he's not a Fex. I could be wrong, of course, since nothing's confirmed, but they've said they're going for more racial diversity this time around... and they aren't going to achieve that by making a brand new race look exactly like the new elf concept art.

And it doesn't look like stubble to me... maybe scars, or face paint or something. Hawke gets a Nutella smear, after all.

He's not a Fex. Gaider said that we would hear about the Fex, but not see them, yet.
