Okay, I haven't read this whole thread, is it confirmed that Gaider is writing this charater and he wil be a party member?  Or is this just speculation/wishfull thinking?

I can't remember who it was, or which thread it was in, but someone mentioned seeing a new companion in one of the screen shots... I presume it's Meg they're referring to. Does anyone else know what screen shot? Can you post it, or a link to it?

I know he's not Dalish! But a girl can hope for the accent, anyway! Maybe he's a Dalish who left his clan and now he's not considered a Dalish anymore because he chose to go to a city, and maybe while in that city he joined the Crows, but retained his accent. Maybe.

I'm sure his accent won't be Welsh...it will be more like a American Mid-Western rural accent like the ones in the movie Fargo. Squee over that, harharhar!

This guy needs an accent. Even if it isn't Welsh Dalish, it could be French Orlesian or German Anders. <3

It's highly improbable seeing how bloody far away it is, but it'd be cool to have someone from the Anderfels in your party.

I'd gladly post my views about how Ms. Fanservice Leading Lady offends me as a male to ease your pain.

I don't think it's a like/dislike of Isabela that's the point...rather that when people go crazy over romancing a *female* character they don't get told the game's not a dating sim. I realise Chris was probably targetting everyone with his comment, not just people in this thread, yet it's this thread that got the post. And some people (mainly the ladies) are feeling left out with all the marketting out there already catering to a certain type of male demographic: sultry Isabela wallpapers, kiss scenes in cinematics, and game footage with big cleavage and no pants.

Not a dating sim indeed. Dangling hawt, scantily clad women in front of people isn't supposed to make them think about canoodling one bit.

Well, of course, there were no DLCs in DAO for males who were unsatisfied with the way their "action rpg" plot ended  And I agree with what you write here.  

Edit: snipped some things out.  But yes, it seemed to me like either a bit of a double standard or that he's not a love interest.  I'm hoping it's the double standard, tbh

Yeah I saw that, but it doesn't rule it out completely. Gaider is notoriously misleading anyway, and I'm still interested in how a city raised Elf could get in a position to become a trained warrior (or rogue, but I expect warrior).
