I agree. What would be the new spin on it? Zevran both enjoyed and disliked being a Crow. He kinda had it covered.

And, two things:

1) Zevran's concept incorporated crow feathers, but his actual design did not

No, it's more like their character art is next to each other in something of a lineup.  

And you wouldn't say that it was melodramatic if you saw the shorts!  That kid isn't wearing the worst example in MST3K history, it's just the easiest example for me to find.

Maybe he's not a Dalish elf, but didn't Morrigan say that her shapeshifting magic was very, very old, learned in the farthest corners of... Somewhere, and that it was elvish magic? So maybe this elf is not a mage, but he does have the ability to shapeshift into a crow, (or raven) hence all the feathers. Sort of like Flemeth shapeshifts into a horned dragon, and her eyes are still yellow and her hair looks like it still has dragon horns.

He isn't a mage ether. That is a prerequisite of shapeshifting.

I'd be shocked if there wasn't a human male LI. So in my estimation it's going to be either Mystery Elf, Unknown Human, Varric and Isabela for females, or Mystery Elf, Unknown Human, and Isabela.



I think Varric only has a shot at LI status if there are 6 romanceables.

Not saying he's tall, I'm wondering if it's a possibility that he'll be taller than your average elf. 

Also, look at the concept art - I spy stubble or some very, very suspect shadowing.
