Metal sleeves. And a new iron headband with spikes!

As much as i like the shorter elves in DAO, supposedly they only got this way after the fall of Arlathan. So if that's a survivor he is likely to be taller... maybe they'll use the human body model instead, if that's the case?Anarya wrote...
I'm also going to speculate that Arlathan elves would be the same height as other elves, if only to save work on body models.

Maybe. That'd certainly solve the height hangup many ladies are having if he is indeed an LI.

an LI with the experience of a 1000 lifetimes if he is indeed an elf from arlathan.

In a decade you may reach second base.
Well, the concept art of this elf has him pretty barrel-chested. But as the exact body build depends on the armour worn, so if the companions get their unique coverall armours the lithe thing could be quite easily done -- it'd mostly result just in character being as tall as a human.wildannie wrote...
I hope not, elves should be more lithe than humans, I can't imagine an elven head on a tall human body... well I can and it's not good

Why, whatever could you mean by that? :innocent:

None of those people had just attempted to kill the Warden. It isn't quite the same. I could just as easily say my Warden, in a violent rage, irrationally killed Zevran out of revenge for the attempt.
I mean, from where I sit there are few reasons to save him beyond metagaming. I said few, not no reasons to, though. And the fact that he can and does betray you later if you haven't worked up enough approval means I like the way Zevran was implemented in the game.
You know, i'm not sure actually. I'm fairly sure i did read that somewhere, that it's deterioration similar to the 'quickening' they experienced from contact with humans and one of results of losing the old knowledge etc, but can't point to exact source. You're right it doesn't seem to be in the codex, at least when just skimming.Maferath wrote...
Elves used to be taller? Didn't you just make that up? :?I don't remember reading anything about that in the codex....

Wow, there's already a fan thread for a character we know nothing about. He does look quite intriguing, though. I hope he's the next revealed character!

Couple of things, yes, this is an upcoming character reveal (your first peak essentially).
His name, personality, etc is what you will need to wait for (I could tell you, but I'm nasty and junk). Yes, you will have to wait for more information.

I saved him entirely for metagaming reasons (I knew he was a companion). I believe that if that bit of information wasn't public, Zevran wouldn't survive his failed assassination attempt on most people's playthrough.
