Everyone here seems to think that he is warrior, wouldn't it be possible that he is a rogue anyway? I mean we had Sten, Oghren and Allistair as warriors in DA:O, but we had two rogues and mages. So maybe we get three rogues this time. That or like Shale he is unique with unique powers.

I hope he's like Shale then, with unique (shape-shifting) powers, or a warrior since I don't want a lot of rogues running around. That's just imo. I won't be too upset if he is a rogue however. As long as his personality is bangin', I'll be pleased.

I'm stuck on the barefoot thing.  What warrior runs around barefoot?  I mean, that's ridiculous enough for a rogue (paging Sigrun, call the home office 911!), but if they're making the rogues into ninja acrobat types then it's less absurd.  Slightly less absurd.

I'm pretty sure Hawke becomes champion of Kirkwall simply because he's the only one in the country who knows how to dress himself properly.

Incidentally, I think Chris's mention of "this is not a dating sim" is a result of people consistently asking that (and sometimes assuming it's the case) after every single character reveal... and not just this character in particular. People who work themselves up into a lather assuming that every character is an a) party member or romanceable are bound to be bitterly disappointed.

Not that you're not in charge of your own disappointments, but we don't want to see you crying when a character who is pretty awesome just isn't as awesome as you imagined them to be.

Wait... what am I saying? Of course we want to see you crying. Or at least I do.

As much as i like the shorter elves in DAO, supposedly they only got this way after the fall of Arlathan. So if that's a survivor he is likely to be taller... maybe they'll use the human body model instead, if that's the case?

The High Elves and dark Elves in TES are taller than the human races. Theres not really a set style as to what an Elven race can look like, seeings as Elves in DA look like slightly shorter humans though, they should probably stick with that.

It's ok if he's not romancable, or if he's a party member...it's fun to speculate! And knowing how evil all the devs are, hes definitely none of the aboove.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's one of, if not *the* main antagonist.

Glad to finally see an elf, even if only in concept art form.

If the ears in the concept art are even only roughly accurate, though, then I am relieved. I prefer the straight up and down ones, but I'd take backwards-pointing over horizontally-outward-pointing any day.

Still holding out hope that we'll get a female elf companion too. I imagine Meg comes from either the Dalish or from a particularly downtrodden area of Kirkwall, so it would be cool if the other companion could come from whichever one Meg doesn't.
