Well, Witch Hunt supposedly takes place 1-2 years post Archdemon dying. So presumably Hawke gets to Kirkwall likely while the Blight is still going on in Ferelden. But based on the demo, it cuts to one of the 2D cutscenes as soon as you wrap up the Blightlands bit with Flemeth and ships you straight off to Kirkwall- so far all we know it skips to one year later or something right then.

I was thinking that- except, unless the demo build this is from is old, Flemeth does not mention a package, but rather clearly mentions Hawke to deliver an "amulet."

I'd feel disappointed if there weren't a few good potential gut punches in the game. But I don't think that's going to be a problem.

If he is some Arlathan dude, I'd wager this all ties in to the amulet Flemeth tells Hawke to deliver to the Dalish which in turn leads to whatever it is that Flemeth is doing in DA2 with her mage army, which in turn leads to the Chantry's downfall, which in turn leads to Morrigan, the Warden and Old God Baby coming BACK IN DA3 TO SAVE THE DAY!!!! WOOOOOHOOO!

I enjoy this idea, very much. 'Tis my favorite so far. But Alistair would have to be the father in my game considering I'm female in 4 out of 5 games.

Maybe I'm just getting pervy in my old age, or maybe I've been on the internet too long, or read way tooo much terrible fiction, but I'd find it intriguing.  Perhaps even alluring.  I mean, anything short of Wraeththu genitals is going to have to try really hard to frighten me.
