I'm generally not a fan of demi-humans and especially not elves, for many reasons that others do like them. But I don't want to start an argument so I won't go into it. That doesn't mean I can't ever like an elf, though. I enjoyed having Zev as a friend in DAO, and I'm interested to see what kind of personality Meg is going to have. I am going to wager that he's not immortal.

I love elven men too but I really hope for more variety in DA2... In DAO we had 1 elf and some hoominz.... So yeah, I hope for MOAR.

It's slightly-anime-style Romantic!Meg! I went overboard with the body swirlies, but they're so fun to do on the tablet. I really hope he has them in-game, but somehow I doubt he'll be very similar to his concept art.

Is it bad that I'd still want Hawke to romance Meg if he was ages old and immortal? Probably. But there's just so much potential for fabulous, gut-wrenching drama there.

As for other parts of the anatomy that may glow, that could be very interesting to explore in fic. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie] "Is that a lyrium potion in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?" Oh, the fun you could have with an immortal, glowy elf.

This is what I first thought of when I saw Flemeth in DA2. But I still like her design.

Of course, there are few villainesses more inspirational than Maleficent.  For fairness's sake, I do like Rita Repulsa a lot, but that just might be because I liked to drive my cousins crazy by rooting for her when I was babysitting them.

I notice that when people draw DAO elves and dwarves sexy, they almost always give them human proportions, save maybe female dwarves.

Well, the implication I was attempting to make is that artists find the scrawny look of elves or the barrel-chest of dwarves inherently unattractive and supplement a more traditional version in, not that they're pathetic for doing so or anything. This applies to the concept art of a (probably) LI elf, too.  In order to make him look attractive, he's been given a much more muscular body and stronger features than what is (or was) typical of DA elves.

I can't say I've actually gushed over him, though. I'm happy to see a likely female LI, but I'm not particularly sold on him or anything.
