Do we really need to analyze it that closely?

Concept art can greatly differ from in game,
Go look at Zevrans concept art

Or anyone's, for that matter. Morrigan was the only one who got special treatment.

Meg could have odd stubble. My husband is Mexican and he has an odd stubble pattern. Oddly enough, my husband looks a bit like Meg, other than the glowy markings, pointed ears and white hair... I am a lucky girl.

It doesn't look like there's anything on the other side, really. At least not on his lip. There looks to be a vertical marking cutting down his left cheek, though.

She does seem to have atleast some sort of important role as do all dalish in DA recently.

Also, I can't really find him sexy because these tatoos in his face remember me of the female human concept art and I start laughing for some strange reason. I wonder how he'll be in the game, Varric changed a little (or even a lot).
