They don't, I just went back and watched the Destiny trailer - the designs on the Qunari are more angular.  That being said...

OT: In the Destiny trailer, Hawke gets cut across the abdomen by the Qunari axe, but then when he goes to Blood Magic Activate, he makes a new cut in his arm.  Why?  USE THE ONE YOU'VE GOT, STUPID.  Okay, rant over.

Perhaps they are elvish design?  Something about the armor makes me think Ironbark.  And if he converted to the Qun he could have dalish or somesuch tatoos.  Its a theory.

Well, Qunari is the only word we have for that race. Since Qunari means something like, "Followers of the Qun". You can be a Qunari without being a member of the 'Qunari' race like Sten.

Can you go back from being enlightened? Tal'Vashoth just means you turn your back on the Qun. So.. finding it, and rejecting it would be the same as going Tal'Vashoth I suppose.

Granted, this being a 'Qunari' elf is pretty unlikely, but it's the best I got at the moment.

He will tell me his tale of anguish and I'll go on to writing a 100,000 word fanfiction in which we constantly end up in romantic or sexual situations but misunderstandings and our own pain keep us apart.
