You want Twilight kept away from MEG because you see Meyers as a bad writer?

I'm not sure if I want MEG to be a creepy stalker or a spinless damsel in distress. Just my opinion, though.

Nor do I want him to sparkle.

What do you want MEG to be then?

Indiana Jones, or someone like that. Again, just my opinion.

Actually, people running around in bare feet isn't that uncommon.  And many people are quite capable of running around naked in the snow--your body is quite effective at keeping itself warm, although you will consume calories at a tremendous rate.

Not to mention you'll get frostbite and lose all your toes. A small detail.

Jacob was cool. As long as you didn't play FemShep and try to talk to him in the Armory - and in that case, Jennifer Hale was a big part of the problem. Otherwise he's great.

So... in other words, I'd be fine with that.

Yep. Jacob was cool until romance came up.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he was cool, he just 'was'. The guy was blander than a cardboard box, and I found him a lot whinier than Kaidan ever was yet I've never seen him picked up for it.

Just my opinion of course, but he is probably my least favourite Bioware character.

I'm kinda hoping Meg is somewhat snarky, something about that expression. It's one reason I think he'd work quite well as a bit of a crook, almost Canderous-like but with added sex appeal.

....you can't be serious.

90% of the time, if I'm asking a question, I'm serious.

I think Stephen King spoke for me: "The real difference [between J. K. Rowling and Meyer] is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer, and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."
There are also a few other reasons, but I'm not going to name them here.

OMG, I know Stephen King is a fan of Rowling, he even asked her not to kill Harry in a conference. But I've never known he said that.

Now I have another good reason to love King. <3

Regarding that Figwit guy, I read the Wiki page on him, and he's described as "Legolas for the thinking woman."

(Insert picture of a confused dog here)

So, serious question - how does that make sense? That thinking women can think up whatever personality they want for the fella, since until ROTK, he has no lines?

He didn't come off as whiny to me, just appropriately ambivalent.  But I definitely liked him much more when playing ManShep than when playing FemShep.  With the former, I kinda thought of him as a friend and drinking buddy.  With the latter, well, I'm pretty sure I have the same opinion most people do.

Before it even gets to that point, my hope would be Hawke would question his judgment and tell him to put some damn boots on.  I mean, maybe it's just the concept art to show his sparkly tattoos and in-game he'll have actual footwear.  Here's hoping, but then there's Isabela...

I just picture Hawke getting his crew dressed in the morning and having to remind everyone to wear their pants and shoes.

It's kinda like Star Wars Fans and Bobba Fett.

He looks somewhat tribal to me. Maybe the bare feet are meant to reflect that. It's an interesting choice I guess. I'll have to see what his in-game images are like to really make a sound judgment, but the concept art is, well, strange.

Basically... Trying to understand the thought process behind fan movements like this is futile. He no doubt got called a thinking woman's Legolas because he isn't involved in fights and doesn't have witty banter with a Dwarf or something. Maybe it's because he has different colour hair.

Star Wars fans applied all sorts of things to Boba Fett just based off his short role in the OT. Nowdays of course he is a well fleshed out character.

I'm confused right with you.  But people get flimmery over the stupidest things.

Why ask why.

I wasn't even going to attempt to comprehend the fan movement. Just that one line of description left me scratching my head. The whole "he doesn't fight and isn't the 'obvious' choice like Legolas" explanation kinda makes sense.

I guess because Bobba Fett is this built up badass of awesome, when, in the actual movies, he said nothing and got his ass kicked. But people still suppose him to be this almighty bounty hunter on level with Han Solo.

Boba Fett's recognized by other characters within the narrative as being bad ass, or at least good at his job, and he shows he's at least Han Solo's equal when it comes to cunning. I mean, I'm not trying to get into this long sidetrack about why Figwit has a fanbase - was only trying to understand the "thinking woman's Legolas" part.

Those kinds of statements - ones that make me go "what does that even mean?" - give me headaches for no good reason, feel free to leave me to my confusion.

Yeah, probably because he appears to have the strength of a fruit fly and, like movie Arwen, sounds like he should be on a respirator.

Put me down as "not a thinking woman" by that definition.

When I was younger I did, but then I desired personality out of the guys I fangirl'd. I also don't find long hair attractive, nor delicate looks on guys.
