I pretty much chose Varric and Meg for thread creation because A. I found their concepts especially compelling and B. I thought they'd be followers (which is why I did not make a Cassandra thread despite loving her concept art).

I meant it as a compliment, actually. I've started very few threads, and the only one to even approach some level of popularity was this one.

... I still get a kick out of my original post in that thread.

I did There's only the two so far. 




You're welcome to add them to the OP if you want, I'm a bit surprised people wanted to use them I know I'll be the first to get one of the pretty .gif banners when someone decides to make one.

That's right, ladies.  He's too cool and aloof to notice you.  That means you'll have to work harder to get his attention.  Or some other psychobabble.  

...although from personal experience, feigning disinterest has worked wonders for me...

By all means!  As of this moment my fanboyism is exclusively tied to Alpha Protocol's Scarlet Lake , so I care not!

'treat 'em mean keep 'em keen' does work...  (both ways) in my experience - by 'mean' I mean disinterested and slightly aloof, not really 'mean' ... that is bad

To be perfectly honest, half the time my "feigned disinterest" is actually "complete cluelessness." So my initial statement was deliberately misleading.

You're reading the posts of a guy who once turned down a girl's offer of gum during a date. I'm clearly very smooth.  Though that particular relationship turned out pretty well, still, maybe she found my obliviousness charming.  Who knows?

Anyway, that Scarlet Lake. Why can't I be seated next to her on my next flight? My most memorable random person I met on a plane was a scout for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Thanks! Though I'm also waiting on the .gif ones, I don't have the patience for those.  But I know the feeling, I wish my Rogue Hawke banner fit with this one - we definitely need slightly more sig space. <_<

I wonder how long it'll take for Meg's character reveal. Too much longer and his real name won't seem right!

I am joining this club as well. Just replace 'disinterest/cluelessness' with 'asexuality/cluelessness' and we're good to go.
