Actually, the silvery hair keeps making me think of chaos from Xenosaga. Which isn't a bad thing, chaos was cool and he had weird fashion sense too.

Well, it's certainly easier to picture him as an assassin with black hair. For me, anyway. But I have a feeling his pigmentation and glowy tattoos has to do with something magic-y about him.
Maybe it's because I haven't played Final Fantasy, but I like the white hair.

That particular screen from the PDF has been posted multiple times in this thread. I think it's the scanned pictures from the actual print magazine that are the problem.
If not, it takes 30 seconds to edit it out of a post.
