There are so very many things to speculate about dear Meg. Why his hair is white and whether it'll stay that way, what the tattoos mean, his background, what weapons he uses, what the feathers mean, why he's barefoot, what accent you think will suit him, what assumptions you make about his personality from the picture, whether he'll be a companion,  a villain or a Tower Guard, what he feeds his Derpicorn, whether he glows in other areas besides neck, arms and feet...

As long as you understand that saying "It's too anime, I don't like it" doesn't actually mean anything to anyone other than you.  If you say "I don't like it because his proportions seem off, especially the length of his legs in comparison to his torso" then we have an idea what you are objecting to. "I don't like the way the artist inked the hair," means something, "I wish there was more detail in his facial features," means something.  "It's anime" doesn't mean anything.

I never claimed to be spaking for anyone other than myself.  That said, I did mention it was a combination of the hair, the pose, and the body proportions that led me to that opinion.

However, as has been pointed out, this thread is about Meg, not about what is or is not anime, or whether anime is good or bad.  I certainly never meant to spark that debate, although I suppose I should have known better.

I just figured out what bothered me about meg's picture,,,, it's the feet. They are too narrow. Also his ears seems to stick out. Velanna has nothing to worry about, his are clownish. The lower body is not proportionate to his upper body.



Here's hoping the in-game creation is better put together because he's quite intriquing.

They're most likely veins.
