I think its more like perched on high up gargoyle, with cape fluttering in the breeze, shrouded in darkness, kind of watching.

They probably have you give up these when you sign the EULA. It's in the small print part.

1. Our MEG is someone from beyond that Eluvian mirror
2. There might be unicorn in the Free Marches
3. MEG is voice either by Christopher Waltz or Karl Urban.

I wouldn't be suprised if he did come from the Eluvian mirror, I mean Witch Hunt was pretty much a big foreshadow on DA 2. So they showed the Eluvian for a reason.

I just wonder what he'll sound like, if he really is an acient Elf that fled into that world does he even speak the commen Thedas tongue? And if he does will he have some sort of accent?

I certainly hope he has an accent. Also, I'm sure he's picked up on the common spoken language since he emerged from the Eluvian, assuming that's what happened. Otherwise Bioware wouldn't be able to show off their fantastic dialogue skills.

What else do you know about MEG?

But seriously, if he really is a acient Elf that survived Arlathan then do you think he has an unique specialization?
I know some people who thought that it would be interesting to have an unarmed specialization, and somehow looking at MEG I get the feeling he is an unarmed fighter.

I could be wrong of course, but he doesn't have any weapons on him and most introduced followers where shown with weapons in their concept art, expect for Varric. And also his armour seems to offer him enough protection as well as mobility. But he could also be a third Rogue, who knows.
