That's what I see every morning when I look in the mirror.

Well, except not animated.

Despite being absolutely giddy that that warranted a Dev quote, I'm still skittish.

What is your opinion on magical goats?

Yes! We must know this.

Interesting...
What else do you know about MEG?

But seriously, if he really is a acient Elf that survived Arlathan then do you think he has an unique specialization?
I know some people who thought that it would be interesting to have an unarmed specialization, and somehow looking at MEG I get the feeling he is an unarmed fighter.

I could be wrong of course, but he doesn't have any weapons on him and most introduced followers where shown with weapons in their concept art, expect for Varric. And also his armour seems to offer him enough protection as well as mobility. But he could also be a third Rogue, who knows.

Other than the obvious derpicorn/magical goat-nug jokes that I've been beating like a dead horse?

It could be interesting. A Crow, survivor of Arlathan, a being from beyond the Eluvian Mirror; They're all interesting ideas, honestly. But who knows? Maybe we're simply blowing things out of proportion, and he's really rocking those glowing tats for completely mundane reasons. Maybe they didn't even make it to the final concept. That said, an unarmed fighter would be interesting but looking at what we know and seen so far of DA2, I'm not sure it would fit in with the combat.

I'll take his silence as confirmation of a magical goat in-game.

We did have so many warrior types in DA, so yeah, he could be another rogue. I don't know how he can be an unarmed rogue though.

I really like the gauntlet hand armor he has. I hope he stays shiny.

I dunno, BioWare made Jade Empire.
They can probably make some awesome unarmed fighting moves.

Eye of Sauron (nudge) , say something.

I would say he's an Arlathan elf, there were only a few left because they managed to hide beyond the Eluvian mirror?

Well, they showed the Eluvian in Witch Hunt.
And Witch Hunt was made to answer some questions about DA:O, but raise more for DA 2.
So yes the Eluvian is probably important to DA 2, and sice MEG's armour kinda looks like the Acient Elven armour from DA:O it is very likely that he could be a Arlathen survivor. I think someone posted the "Notes of Arl Foreshadow" a few pages back where it is also assumed that MEG is a Arlathen survivor.

Though he could just have robbed some Elven ruins or inherited the armour.

You're a robber, that's what you are!

A thief could be neat.

I was gone all day, did I miss any info? Derpicorns? Goats? Confirmation that his name really is Meg?

Well, John appeared to let us know that  he and the others devs are always watching. Creepily. Otherwise, nothing.

The last two pages where again speculating if Meg was an Arlathen survivour.
And I might have said that Meg stole the armourr from some elven ruins.

I say that's far more likely. Everyone knows cats are far more nefarious than Batman ever could be.
