Wait...
How did we go from discussing Meg, to "John Epler is Batman'.
I agree with you but I'm just wondering.

Okay, i don't come over as aggogant or anything cause i have no idea if i'm right, but i'm just thinking of the timeline of DA2 and how in over laps with DA:O. I know that DA2 is over the duration of 10 years, however i do not know how long DA:O was supposed to be (yes this is getting somewhere eventually). And Which Hunt which was set 2-3 years after origins (or so i've heard). This would make the Eluvian idea not very viable. That is asumming that DA:O took place over the time period of 5years+. That would place Meg coming into the story around 7-8 years into Hawkes story.

In addition to this, if you are meaning that Meg came through the Eluvian that Morrigan went through in Witch Hunt, I think I recall her saying that it only had enough power for one "Journey"(?) through it, thus you could not follow her if you didn't leave with her. So i assume it wouldn't have enough power for someone to come back through it from the other side.

But, like i said i have very little knowledge about the timeline of DAO so i could be very wrong. I also acknowledge that both of you said that you have never played Witch Hunt so you may not have known some of the things i have mentioned in this post.

Yeesh, settle down. I don't read many comic books. I didn't know the line was common knowledge.

Just because The Warden & Co find out what an Eluvian is 2-3 years after Origins, doesn't have to mean that Hawke finds it around the same time.

Hell it would make sense if he finds it sooner, or else the story of Hawke and the Warden would collide.

Possibly. I do have two very gassy dogs that like to surround me in their warm blubber.

Even when I don't want it.

Especially when I don't want it.

I hope BioWare crushes elf lover's dreams by confirming Meg is not a companion or romance. :D

Romance I could live without, and am relatively indifferent to. But I want him as a companion.

My elf shrine has a direct link to Gaider's frontal lobe. He will write us a blonde, female elf.

To my understanding of Which Hunt, Morrigan only just got the Eluvian "up and working" about the same time as the warden was searching for her, and that she was only sticking around to see if it was truely you. In which case Hawke would find it "broken", as in not working as a portal.

The clan from the Dalish Origin is moving up north in DA:O, to Kirkwall.
And since they lost a clan member to the Eluvian it is possible they researcherd it, that or Flemeth helps them out with the package Hawke has to deliver to the Dalish clan. And according to BioWare dev's you meet Flemeth before Morrigan sends the Warden to kill her. So that's why there's a is a chance the Eluvian is opend before Morrigan knows how to open it.

That, or Meg opens it for the other side.

Thats true, and we don't know exactly "how" Morrigan even was able to get the Eluvian working. She said it took a fair effort. Thats not to say that there aren't more Eluvians hidden out around Thedas though. Maybe there is another in Sundermount or some other Elven ruins?

I think it would be really interesting if Meg were a elf that follows Qun. Ever since someone mention this a while back I can't get it out of my head. =)

Spoiler

Yes you do meet Flemeth at some point between her sending Morrigan with you and Morrigan sending you to "kill" her and she gives Hawke and Amulet to give to the sed Dalish Clan. But anyhow the Eluvian that the Dalish went into was destroyed and is a different one to which Morrigan "Activates". Plus, DA2 is set in Free Marches and the Eluvian that Morrigan goes through is in Ferelden.

The Elves where the first ones on Thedas, they probably built Eluvians all over Thedas. I'm pretty sure of this because Duncan seems to recognize it.
And there is a big chance there are Eluvians in the Free Marches, especially because there are some acient Elven ruins in Sundermount which is near Kirkwall.

Yes it is more than likely that there are lots more Eluvians scattered about Theadas. As i recall if you got the DLC where you returned to soilders peak, i remember seeing one there. In the room where you do the "ritual". Thats the only one i can think of from the top of my head but im sure i recall seeing another Eluvian somewhere within the game. And if not an Eluvian something that looks a god damn like it.

As i said, my original post only really applied to your Eluvian theory IF you were talking about the Eluvian that Morrigan went through (which i assumed you were since you were talking about Which Hunt). Or atleast i think i did, blast my memory!
