I doubt it possible, do you think a part of Tamle DID go in the Eluvian?
Not that I mean that that part became Meg, but maybe it awakend Meg? As I remeber Acient Elves didn't die, they just went into century long slumbers. And I dunno, maybe Meg gained some of Tamlens memories seeing as the Eluvian was broken. Or he at least learned the current language and all from Tamlens memories.

I'm not making much sense...

An ancient elf from before the Trevinter Imperium... I like that idea. Perhaps the use of Eluvians by Morrigan and Tamlen accidentally triggered some ancient spell to reawaken them/him?

As for communication, that should be an easy problem to solve in a world filled with magic (I can't think of HOW right now, but oh well...).

Aww, I liked Tamlen a lot.. too bad this can't be him coming back :( That would have been a fun theory to run with.

Wait....
People are agreeing with what I'm saying? That...Doesn't happen often, and can only mean one thing!
I'm completly wrong....
That or I'm just making some good and believable points.

Or maybe it is all a cunning plan hatched against you, to make you feel good about people agreeing with you, and then BAM! We do something that shatters your hopes and dreams. Posted Image

We agree with you ages ago, Lethallin (or lethallan?).

I like the idea of MEG somehow involved with Tamlen. His story was just sooo sad. I weep every time I played the Dalish Origin (and for a person who had played the Origin 15 times, it's quite a few).

So I'm not the only one that played the Dalish Origin so much.
I was just playing on my Female Dalish Rogue an hour ago.
Because it's fun, but also because I accidently erased all my finished playthroughs.

I really hope there isn't a limit on the amount of characters you can save for the PS 3 in DA 2.

@HagSpawn.
Did you got your avatar from the original concept art or is it new?
Because if you inspect your avatar closly Meg's armor looks more leather-y.

Could just be me though.

Same goes to xBox. I had to set up three new profile to run enough playthrough without deleting any of them. The down side of that is with each profile, I had to recollect the achievements. <_<

Time to do the ticking question again, eye of Sauron:

MEG is:

1. Some Ancient elf from the other side of Eluvian mirror, very possibly be related to Tamlen (or Tamlen revived? Oh, that just me.)

2. He could be a warrior in light armour.

3. He arrived to Thedas on the back of Unicorn.

4. He is voiced by Christopher Waltz, or Karl Urban, or David Tennant (oh, that would be really odd, cause I will definitely keep imaging the Doctor talking to me when I play DA II).

Tick the ones that's correct.

Don't worry, your secret is save with us

Well nr 1 definatly makes sense in some way.
I mean, when I heard that he could be from the Eluvian and when people started talking about Tamlen. I somehow got the feeling that maybe the thing Tamlen saw moving in the mirror, was Meg.

But that couldn't be, right?

Lol, why Karl Urban? He's a cool dude and all, met him at one of the Supanova events down here recently, but I'm not sure why he's in the running for voice-acting. Tennant could totally do a unicorn-riding elf who will go around saying "Brilliant!" and "Ah, humans got to love them!"

The concept art.

It looks like a mix to me like Zev's concept of fabric, leather and other assorted items like the feathers. I would still like to say Antivan *looks hopeful with big watery eyes at any Dev's/Writers that may be watching this thread*

Karl Urban is my personal favourite. He does have a very light German accent. Since my theory is Free Marches is somehow German in Thedas, he should do the trick nicely.

And David. Oh, I don't mind him. He's brilliant! MEG can be Doctor Who! :wizard:

Damn Dave you might be on to something here!
I didn't even think about the fact that he could be serving Flemeth.

Maybe...Those glowing tatoos are like his chains?
If he doesn't serve her willingly that is.

1. Now wouldn't that be something if he came through an Eluvian mirror.  It'd certainly lead to lots of interesting and plot relevant conversations with Meg.  I don't see how it'll relate to Tamlen beyond they both touch an Eluvian mirror really.

2.  This is also a possibility.  I think that if he was a warrior, he'd definitely need a characteristics all to himself, like Isabela with her Swashbuckler tactics.  I jokingly suggested the shapeshifting unicorn power since his transformation into something more durable (that is not a unicorn) then the gear he's wearing in the concept seemed a tad bit more logical.  He glows, so I think mage but he's not one.  Ergh, weird.

3.  Yes, of course he did B)

I am going to laugh if this guy is someone insignificant and is hardly given any talk time or is a very minor role like that templar who will ferry you across the lake to get to the Circle Tower in Origins.

There was a picture of him in a magazine next to all the other known companions. Isabella, Aveline and Varric.
But since it is forbidden to post magazine scans it has been removed from the thread.

Wouldn't care, as long as he is in it :P

Risax, That does sound promising!
