As it was suggested in the past, insignificant people don't get concept art.
David writes minor NPCs.

Oh?
I always wonder about that, who wrote about Jowan, Tamlen, Ser Gilmore and Cullen?

So chances are it would be David who wrote them.
Still, they don't get concept art, MEG is. And this says something.

Exactly, I just wanted to have your back earlier and saying 'this' didn't have as much oomph.

What have we been reduced to? Awkward grunting noises it appears.
I think namedforthemoon meant to add some OOMPH to my oomph by bolding and capitalizing it. Though I could be entirely off kilter.

David did the Human Noble origin, but I think Sheryl did the Mage origin and Mary did the dwarven origins.

You should have seen me on the old forums when Zevran was just announced.

^ Good times. Good times.
I remember when Lady Shayna was saying that she was crushing on Alistair and wanted him to be romanceable. LOL. Omg and the thread by Chris that was titled, "On the subject of Alistair being romanceable..." Ahhh, like 50 pages in one day.

Oh, I wish I'd been there to see that; that must be an utter classic thread. :happy:Lucy_Glitter wrote...

Wow, were their personalities known by then or was that all just based on concept art and stuff? Because Alistair and Zevran's respective reactions to the mass glompage is totally in-character.

Yeah, but we can make more fun memories in this thread, right?

All this walking down memory lane.. I didn't follow Origins' development but I don't think I would have been excited about any of the romanceable characters pre-release. Heck, I didn't even get that excited when I first met Alistair and Zevran in-game (of course, I didn't know about the whole romanceable component either, having played KOTOR I and II without following the romance plots twice).
It's amazing to look back now and see how crazy everyone got (especially now that I am following DA 2 and going equally crazy over Varric). Really puts things in perspective, doesn't it? I sure hope these characters have awesome personalities to go with their juicy concept art.

Well if Gaider's comment a while back about wanting to write a romance that had a stoic, gruff guy
pushing you up against a wall says anything then I think we are in for a treat
