My ears, they'll never heal from the implied squeeing noises.
*mourns them*

It's the lurking fangirls you have to watch. If you listen really close you can hear the bushes rustling and stifled squee's waiting in anticipation for a dev comment to ambush

I really hope he does, we had the sweet awkward cutie thing in DA so I am all for the "stoic, gruff guy
pushing you up against a wall says anything" making an appearance

But do we know that Morrigan even actually went to Orlais? It was rumored in the epilogue but we have no clue what she did after Origins. And we don't even know that she necessarily learned it from "someone"- it seems more likely she pieced together herself how to activate it, as she at least in part seemed to have learned about it from the book she stole from the Dalish. Yet, the Dalish themselves had no clue about what was in the book and it took an expert in Tevinter relics in Finn to know what an Eluvian was.
Doesn't everyone want to know the awnser to this question, i certainly do.The question is- what the hell is beyond the Eluvian? Thats what I want to know- some place beyond the Fade- what could that be?

Since it has been confirmed he is not Dalish, I also believe that he is related to the Eluvians and why not to the powers of old Arlathan. We'll see I guess.
Anyway, our MEG is indeed very mysterious, can't wait to see some more info about him.

I can't wait to see what happens with all the fangirlism if it turns out he is neither mysterious nor a companion or in any way an important role in DA2

All this walking down memory lane.. I didn't follow Origins' development but I don't think I would have been excited about any of the romanceable characters pre-release. Heck, I didn't even get that excited when I first met Alistair and Zevran in-game (of course, I didn't know about the whole romanceable component either, having played KOTOR I and II without following the romance plots twice).
It's amazing to look back now and see how crazy everyone got (especially now that I am following DA 2 and going equally crazy over Varric). Really puts things in perspective, doesn't it? I sure hope these characters have awesome personalities to go with their juicy concept art.
Well if Gaider's comment a while back about wanting to write a romance that had a stoic, gruff guy pushing you up against a wall says anything then I think we are in for a treat

And I already replied with:"There is a big chance that MEG is in fact a companion because someone posted a magazine scan with Meg and all the other known followers Aveline, Isabella and Varric. But since it is forbidden to post magazine scans on the forums, it has been deleted."

He said that? WHERE?!?!?
I'm holding out hope that Nathaniel makes a significant comeback in DA2. Gaider has said he really likes Nathaniel and his stoicism....so if his statement above applies to Nathaniel, I might just.....um...erm....
I'll be in my bunk.
p.s. applying to Meg would be equally as delicious.

or imagine Varric not being a romance option
