I don't think this guy is Zevran. But I do think that it's possible that we end up with another Crow Assassin in the party, considering Hawke's story spans over ten years. The Crows are everywhere. Maybe this is a rogue Crow, or a Crow that was caught while trying to complete a job, and thrown in prison that we decided to rescue.


Or, he could just be a City elf (since DG says he's not a Dalish elf) with some crazy styling going on.

I am guessing he is elvish, but no idea what sort of elf if not dalish or city, as others have said maybe a new elvish race or one of the ancients reborn.
I would also guess he is a 2 handed warrior (make a nice change) and will be wielding some sort of curved blade two handed glaive type weapon as his preferred choice
Great that David G wrote this person, and I think he said that each writer got to choose this time round who they wroe, so thats a double bonus

Yes, you totally should. After all, Zevran was David's first character, and as we all know, writers only have one character in them. Sort of like you know all about Varric by looking at Sten.
