If that's true, then only for the time before he returns for Awakening to get conscripted or executed...

Am I the only one hoping that Meg will be taller than FemHawke? If Meg is an LI, being taller than him will bug me to no end....which then I suppose I am rooting for him to be Fex?

Hmm. Let's think about this Chronologically. The events in Origins takes place over the span of a year (I read that in another thread). If the blight overtakes Lothering just a bit after the Warden completes one of the major quests (like the mage quest or the werewolves quest) then that's probably a month later when Lothering is sacked. The journey to Kirkwall probably takes a month... So I'm guessing that Hawke will meet Nathaniel Howe in the Free Marches sooner rather than later in his/her ten year span. Depending on how soon Awakening happens after the Blight ends... I'm guessing a month or so, Nate has 6-8 months possible to spend with Hawke. Then he goes to Amaranthine, beomes a Warden (unless you kill him or let him go) and then... I can't remember, at the end of Awakening, what happens to Nathaniel? Does he return to the Free Marches? So he could start up a romance, leave, and then possibly return for a happy ending? Or not, if he's a Warden he might not have the ability to have children. So many possibilities.





Anyway, back to Meg. Nathaniel should really have his own thread. I think he does, but its buried.

There's no Fex in DA2, unfortunately. But who knows, Meg glows, so he may be taller, too.

Not that it really matters but it always seemed like female humans and male elves were the exact same height to me

It would be funny if it was mandatory to be an elf or dwarf, or maybe even a qunari in a Dragon Age 3.

There's no Fex in DA2, unfortunately. But who knows, Meg glows, so he may be taller, too.

 In the races concept art elfs appear to be taller tho Yay!

Let see...at one stage in game Wynne will talk to the Warden about it's been a year since whatever event in their own Origin, and somewhere in Awakening, it also mentioned it was about 6 month since the Blight was ended. Steven Valentine tweeted about appearing in DA II.  Hawk was from Lothering, and it was said at one stage he or she will ran into the Warden etc. in Lothering before he or she escape to the Free Marches. That means he or she will definitely bump into Nate.

Wonder where would he be? Kirkwell? Hightown?Lowtown? Or Darktown?

Yeah, he is smaller than a human female. And talking about Zevran, i remembered his concept art...Damn he looks a lot different in game. I wonder how different Meg will look...
