Seriously though, that would be awesome. I'm beginning to warm up to the whole Arlathan survivor theory, and the whole Tevinter slave thing would be a neat angle. Those pesky mages are up to no good anyway.

Now, let's update our theory regarding MEG:
1. He might be the being from beyond the Eluvian mirror (which is very likely to be feature in DA II)
2. He might be one of the Arlathan survivor.
3. He might be some abomination, hence the glowing tattoo.
4. He might be a slave of Trevinter Magister.
5. He could be a warrior (very likely, since there are way too many mage on that list already)
6. He might owned a unicorn as animal companion.
7. He might be voice (as per various dev suggested) by David Tennant, Christopher Waltz, Greg Ellis, or Karl Urban.
8. He might order White Russian (reflect his look), Bailey, or Jack Daniel (reflect his possible personality) in the bar.
9. He might be a LI that 'push you up against the wall' (am I using the right word here?).

That's what the glowing tattoo is for, don't you think? Didn't Dave of Canada pointed out they pattern looks suspecious?
Qunari do know magic. But if I recalled correctly, that's usually female's job, though.
