Expanding soundsets

I know it's premature because no one managed to implement an entirely new soundset yet, but I'd rather ask: do you think it's possible-feasible to create expanded soundsets? that give voice also for some spellcasting? since many of the exclamations happen due to melee talents.

soundsets shouldnt be difficult, you just use the soundset template conversation (and other under-the-hood tinkerings to get it to be used).



okay, according to the notes on the player ss template:

"This is the template file to be used when writers are creating PLAYER soundsets. Please do not translate or record.



Each root node must be mapped into the file ss_types.xls



Also consult the example soundset document to see the required entries for various templates."



the conversations themselves dont seem to have any scripting on them, so i would guess it is handled by a script in the engine somewhere. you can poke around in that xls file. i'm not too sure there's an actual 'document' about requirements, unless they mean the different templates.

for example you use one of the attack quotes when launching a spell, this kind of idea
