Now. I recently found out how to get my Leliana relationship going, I got to reload a bit back which means about 2 hours are wasted. But then I can initiate the relationship. (Apparently I picked a wrong option somewhere)

But anyhow. I was wondering, for the male heterosexual romance-option-pickers, whom did you pick and why?

Morrigans romance is more. . . complex and overall impacts you with far more emotion than Leliana could ever. With Leliana it's more like "i like you, you like me, tee hee tee hee" whatever.

I tried having a lesbian relationship between my reaver warrior and Morrigan....didn't really work out.



So anyway is Zevran gay? I mean he likes leather...

Zevran is bi, Leliana is bi, Morrigan is straight, not sure about Alistair but I think he's straight as well.



For Morrigan? Just don't expect a good ending.

I got Morrigan telling me to figure out who I should share my tent with. Liliana or her. And she doesn't share. :/

Morrigan, much more involving, the Leliana romance is...childish? Feels like a teenage relationship almost. Morrigan well for a start the voice acting is better, and the romance more complicated, alot more compicated and involving.

My character was a goody two-shoes, but I still went for Morrigan. Leliana's love plot is much to simple, Morrigan's one is much more involving as it has more twists, better character and voice acting also.



Plus no irritating accent.

-more difficult to have the relationship

anyway, it's easy to see that morrigan will not be a long and happy relation. leliana is more about stable relationship.

I found the Morrigan romance much much much more touching at the end especially, and its very interesting to try and make her open up.



HOWEVER, I romanced Morrigan, then romanced Leliana and had a tussle, then ended up having both of them romanced at the end so... I secretly held my love for Morrigan but stuck with Leliana since Morrigan left me.



No one died in the end, I loved having both relationships, it was so fitting for my character. =)

I'd be interested to see how the end goes if Morrigan is in love with you, but I haven't played a straight male yet.



I didn't like Liliana much, she felt kind of generic. But I downloaded a mod that makes her, in my opinion, look a lot better, and now I'm having a lesbian relationship with her.

Both at the same time ftw! It eventually catchs up with you and you need to pick one or the other. The catfight dialog out of Morrigan is entertaining.

Heh. I found the Leliana relationship to be far more what real adult relationships are like while the Morrigan relationship was more like a day time drama.

Leliana is safe...but boring. Morrigan wins it, even though girls like her always lead to disaster.

I managed to have the "Choose your woman" conversation and chose Leliana, then gave Morrigan the mirror and told her "Its just a present for a beautiful woman." And BAM! She was in love again. 

The conversation of "Oh, you have to pick one or the other." Never came up again!

Well its pretty much the same thing... except you get one extra dialogue where she says "don't cloud the situations by bringing in your emotions" and before you start the ritual she says "come my Love"

Sadly drama relationships are more fun than "real adult" relationships lol, especially since it plays with the characters emotions so much and ends up in a giant heart break

This is kinda how I felt too, but you can harden Liliana so she gives up her Chantry crap

After several runs I now prefer Lelianna over Morrigan simply because Lelianna's character seems to be more flexible towards what you do, with the one exception where a certain urn is involved. Morrigan's character at times just rubs me the wrong way and while she might be a good tumble while it lasted, once she became / merged with Flemmeth, she was just no longer an option in bed.

Lelianna on the otherhand actually listens to you and depending on what you do, actually become more then just a crazy chantry maid. Though even then, Lelianna might be crazy, but at least, she is my kind of crazy.

She's still boring and prattles on about shoes.

I've got to say though I'm not really enthused that Morrigan turns into the "damaged goods" girl. I was hoping she'd stick to her guns on the whole Nietzschean power trip thing.

At least all four of them are better than the ones in Mass Effect. I HATED Ashley, yet I always killed Kaiden :/



That is a completely different topic though, its just that these characters have more depth in the romance quest than the last few bioware games
