Morrigan, much more involving, the Leliana romance is...childish? Feels like a teenage relationship almost. Morrigan well for a start the voice acting is better, and the romance more complicated, alot more compicated and involving.
Heh. I found the Leliana relationship to be far more what real adult relationships are like while the Morrigan relationship was more like a day time drama.
Sadly drama relationships are more fun than "real adult" relationships lol, especially since it plays with the characters emotions so much and ends up in a giant heart break
I agree. If someone wrote a story about two adults finding one another, easily falling in love, moving in, and spending the rest of their lives in contented bliss, the author would make no money. People enjoy ANGST and DRAMA in their entertainment.

Don't get me started on Mass Effect. I am completely irrationally in love with Tali.
LOL I hate to admit, but so did I
Or do since she's gonna be in the sequel

Leliana is safe...but boring. Morrigan wins it, even though girls like her always lead to disaster.
This.
So bad, yet so good! (Especially the deal at the end.)

I just find Tali the most fascinating by far. Liara was way, WAY too immature, and whats-her-name was a fundie...no way
a fundie?

That's the thing, by default it would be easier for good characters to choose Leliana, and bad characters to choose Morrigan, because they would then be more compatible with each other.

She was also a bit of an EXTREME racist don't forget that, and her backstory was drab and wasn't as harsh as any of Shepards backstory. I really hated her, yet I always killed Kaiden even though I liked him. Strange

Only true if "good" means "prefers chatting about religious nonsense and shoes".

off post topic: I have my doubts about the chantry, I hope we get to fight them in expansion

On the other hand, Leliana was perfect for my human mage who was an Andraste-following, Maker-loving bleeding heart. Her romance is certainly sappier, and I personally liked that. Morrigan's is a tad more complicated in some ways and has no real "happy" ending, but I still enjoyed it.
So, I guess what my ramblings mean is - which would fit your Warden better? Go with that one. Or play around with them both and then choose later. Whatever floats your boat.

Also, Schmooples is awesome.
Leliana asking for a nug pet and then naming it Schmooples is one of
the few times I'd said to myself 'There's no way a man could have
written this.'
Me, I just started laughing for several minutes. Even saying his name now makes me giggle.

Leliana's is more creepy - of the 'I watch you as you sleep and your eyes look like butterflies that I would eat' variety.
But Leliana does sing. I haven't romanced her yet, but you've got to love a girl with a good pair of lungs.

I just got the nug and haven't given it to her yet. That's almost stupidly adorable. Which... I guess best describes Leliana.
