If the Staff of Parlathan (the staffsword) was full sized and less silvery then I'd probably save up to get it. There were plenty of cooler swords in DAO (and DA2) that they could have chosen to do though. Both of the full scale replicas look totally off balance.

I found that the grey warden sword looks stuipd. It should look like the sword in the game.

What!!!
That Staff of Paralathan is only 24inches.....
I've tossed larger Midgets in Midget Tossing Tournaments
How am I meant to kill Qunari with that 24 inch lame replica!!
Bet it doesnt even shoot lightning, or fire.

ya, it's basically melted spoons bound with krazy glue. stainless steel is crap, (I'm refering to the posts a few spaces above this) my freind and I were big renaissance faire goers and we could always find replicas of weapons made from high carbon steel for around 100-300 dollars. Yet, the grey warden swords do look nice though.

Epic Weapons has TERRIBLE customer service, and they screw you over on the shipping, and you never hear from them again....
I bought from them once, and honestly if I could put a big banner on their site that says, "DON'T BUY FROM HERE" I would....

It's in DAII, yes. I can't remember it's exact name, but its item code is w_lsw_024a.
The sword is also featured in several of the first Dragon Age's trailers.

Why waste money on this? Aldous said that the Wardens are a small order and no longer important. Besides, Darkspawn are a Dwarven problem, I doubt it will be needed.

Off topic, lobi, this topic isn't about in-game items, but replicas of in-game items fans may wish to own.

Okay this is what I don't get. You can easily find the sword but why don't people make the shield to?!

are those swords even sharp? I doubt it... Better of buying a razor sharp katana at the mall or flea market for $60. Correct me though if these swords are capable of chopping of limbs because if we ever get invaded by demons and guns wont work like in Onimusha I want to be able to fight with style.

A sword could be handy if you know how to use it, even if it is just an ornament. One of my friends has personal experience using one as a burglar deterent-- More excuses to buy, tee hee....... However, I would hate to buy a sword from just a photo. How would you know if it was made well or made your size without holding it in your hand? There are so many cheap 'fantasy swords' on Craigslist all the time. I would want something that could be passed down to my offspring and last a few hundred years.
I personally, was wanting the full sized Grey Warden, like the cardboard movie figure cutouts. My sister has an Austin Powers one, I want a Grey Warden one, or perhaps an Alistair, Anders, or Fenris. DA II Flemeth would be pretty awesome too. Can you start selling those? It would look great amongst my other fantasy art.

I have the sword, bought it when it came out. Its not bad but it is just a decorative blade, its got a rounded edge and point, and heavy. If I was not a DA fan I would never have bought it myself (I do collect blades but normally higher quality).Teddiliza wrote...

To me it looks completely wrong. The hilt is hand n a half length, while the blade looks to be a good 4' long. It would be completely unbalanced and you couldn't get any power into the swing because of this.
This was made by a profecional sword maker? That company should be ashamed of their efforts.
