(I cross-posted this from the Mass Effect 2 Support forum, and thought this was more appropriate.)
I am getting incredibly slow download rates with the official DLC page. I can't manage over 90kb/s for anything. Some of these DLC's are over 1gb. Are there any official mirrors or any other way I get these? I don't want to wait 10 hours for the Shadow Broker, etc.
Am I the only one with this problem? I've checked my connection and tested speeds, everything is normal on my end. I can get up to 2.5mb/s on cable network.
Seriously, it's going to take at least 3 days to download everything if this is supposed to be normal.

This isn't guaranteed to work for all the DLC or forever but you could try using Limelight instead of Akamai as we should have the files on both. In the download link you just need to replace:

Bit of a necro here, but that suggestion helped me out immensely. Just picked up the Shadow Broker DLC and it said I had 3 days until it was complete on the normal DLC site. Going with what you suggested, it took 40m.
So even if it is a necro, hopefully this will help some other people.
