Ok, I think you're exaggerating her "sweetness", but I ain't gonna argue about that. We all like and dislike characters at will.

My theory is that the dream is a symptom of an already present liking, not the cause.

I do hate every single Orlesian they've introduced.  And I started dissing Cailan when I found out he was going to marry one.  [alfstanna]  Coincidence?  [/alfstanna]

But I've always said I liked TST Loghain.  You just edit that out the way Axe keeps insisting DSC made some of us into Leli haters.  Granted, spending hours dissecting his character has made a difference.

I always imagined she was more of the girl that just giggles and skips at random times for no reason whatsoever and then asks extreamly random questions that have nothing to do with whats going on.

After saying it's not fun to mess with her, I do have to admit I like asking her in the hair dialogue, "why are you telling me this?"  Because I always imagine my Wardens looking rather  at that point.  It's funny they actually have the Warden standing with arms crossed during that conversation.

But that's as cruel as I can make myself be to her.  Oh, except in the Dalish conversation, where again she's just begging to be slapped.

If there's one thing Leli and Alistair fans can agree in, is that that couple is just wrong.

Probably.  But he's a cute guy, talks in an English accent, and I can put up with laddishness more than I can the girly girl thing.

While I'll always see you as a Morri fan first and foremest, I certainly see you as a Leli fan too! 

As for the rest... meh, don't care for it. Paring your favorite character with one of your least favorite characters hardly makes one happy.

I don't feel strongly about the pairing one way or another, I just have a mild aversion to it along the lines of 'Wow, what a dull couple.' Some couples are interesting, others...not so much. Pairing Alistiar or Leliana with other people would produce a more interesting couple so that's not an attack on the level of interest of either character.

But that pairing wouldn't make sense at all. They hate each other and Morrigan does not think highly of him at all.
Alistair and Leliana on the otherhand have things in common and share similar needs, so it makes more sense.

Of course I understand that you wouldn't be happy about it. I wouldn't be either, but I was delighted at the time because at least it wasn't the rumored Morrigan / Alistair relationship that I dread.

Ali/Morrigan is an abomination that should not be discussed.

I look at Ali/Leli this way:  In the absence of a romance with the warden, it would be nice if those two could find happiness together.  And you know neither one would likely wind up hurting the other.

Well, it's not that uncommon that hatred between two people leads to a passionate relationship. Many people use hatred as a shield to hide their true feelings.

Not that I'm suggesting that's the case for Morrigan and Alistair, but in an alternate universe (which is what DSC is) a potential pairing makes as much sense as a Leli and Alistair one.

To be honest, the pairing that would make most sense to me is a Leli/Zevran one. But I don't want to rile up any Zev fan who hates Leli so I'll just shut up...
