I'm really concerned about the PC version...

Horrible low res textuters, no attempt to improve on the console version.
You use the space key for three different functions, despite having tons of unused buttons on the keyboard. Things get really clunky this way.
The mini-games don't work with a mouse.
You can't use the keyboard shortcuts to change weapons, you have to pause the game.
There are no separate shortcuts to Map, Codex, Journal, ect, despite J, or C or other buttons being unused.
There are many other porting problems that could have been fixed very simply, but they didn't even try to make the PC version adapted to the platform. My biggest fear is that this will be the problem with DA II too.

As I've noted previously, the control scheme for DA II is pretty much identical to Origins. It's a far cry from a "port" to PC, as the engine and UI was originally designed for the PC, and now benefits from optimizations and design that works well on both platforms.
There's a bit of difference between the two, for sure, such as hovering tool-tips, the quickbar, the ability to pull the camera back further and so on.
Essentially, though, if you played Origins, you know what you're in for in terms of controlling DA II. Except, of course, for the responsiveness and notable lack of combat shuffle. But then, lots of folks 'round here know my feelings about the shuffle.

dragon age and ME are different teams, though i think they shuffle people in between the two occasionally.
Correct. In fact, if you look closely, you'll see that I have Additional Design credited on the original Mass Effect. Madness!

Actually, since DA2, we no longer shuffle people between projects. Mike said we had to get rid of the shuffle. Instead, we push a button and staff transfer awesomely.

Installing those human-capable, rock-and-roll-blasting, pneumatic tubes was absolutely worth it.

But I'm brittle and bruise easily!
I don't want to transfer projects!
