I read the EU too.Still recovering from LotF, they should leave all literature to Dark Horse, instead of the last ones. Already hate TOR as most likely reason Kotor comics also closed.

About OP, Lucas is probably the reason there are not 10 more movies where we would probably find Jar Jar and C3PO good in comparison. Hope when he´s gone his children don´t go all out. Sadly he cares little about EU, and we got LotF or the story from Force Unleashed (poor EU Vader, Anakin at his worst is usually more competent).

I just want him to hand over the original scripts and walk away. Stop fiddling with it to make it more marketable.

C3PO and Jar Jar Binks were the stars of Episode 2 and 1 respectively. Sorry, but Jar Jar was seriously the best thing about Episode 1.

the LoTR trilogy wouldnt have become popular if it wasn't for the movies.

This is the most uninformed post I have ever read.

Perhaps, but only because there were no good things about Episode 1.

QFT.  And it's not a trilogy.  Every time someone says that, a hobbit gets to take another drink.

And the best thing about Episode 1 was actually the massive amount of lightsaber usage.  An elegant weapon, indeed.

To quote RedLetterMedia: "Lightsabers, lightsabers, lightsabers, lightsabers, everybody's got lightsabers, lightsabers, lightsabers..."

Ugh. The Star Wars Prequels should not exist for so many reasons. At least not in the form that they were created.

I don't think I have ever seen a sequel or prequel as bad as Star Wars Episode I. Highlander II, Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions and Robocop 3 come close but I think seeing Stars Wars Episode I in the theater for the first time was like having a piece of me die on the inside. To this day I am still flabbergasted by how bad it was.

No love for Darth Maul? He ended up pretty pointless but was cool while he lasted.

"Now this is pod racing." (monotone, emotionless delivery)

That's a big part of what killed it...

Damn you Lucas!

Is this gonna end in another discussion thread on the interwebz about how George Lucas raped all of your childhoods with the prequels?

Weren't 50 issues planned from the beginning? The same seems to be true for the Legacy comics.

I am more for a reboot of some of the games then ending the series.

If their is a KOTOR 3, a new Star Wars strategy game, new Jedi Knight and Battlefront 3 in my lifetime and their awesome, I will be a very happy person.

Also why do people hate on the prequels so much, I know the Phantom Menace wasn't that good but I don't see why their is hate on all the prequels.

Nothing is ever "done". It completely depends on how they use it. I ♥ the Star Wars Universe.

StarWars was done after the first two movies. Lucas can't kill it now anyways. It's like some bloated hackneyed Hydra, sprouting a new head each time one is cut off.

This is pure unadulterated blasphemy. Star Trek is so very much better than StarWars.

Nobody is hating on the concept.

Just the writing, directing, acting, story...you get the picture.
