What?

You shouldn't stare at people. It is considered rude.

The Star Wars franchise far from dead. It just Lucas hasn't had an original Idea in a long time. I'd like to see what J.J Abrams could do with an original Star Was story, Not a reboot.

I certainly love The Clone Wars TV series which has become one of my favorite shows. Sure if the quality started to dip my opinion would change but it hasn't to me.

Sorry but the Clone wars series is a bigger piece of sh*t than the prequels, I don't understand how anyone over ten years of age, can like it.

I'd strongly disagree. The Clone Wars series has gotten far better since it's premiere on TV and I personally like better than the prequels as the action is better and so is the character development. You just have a different opinion.

I think another problem lies in the fact that some of the EU authors aren't that creative and are medicore at best. Take Karen Traviss. I think it would be for the EU if it moved entirely away from the Jedi vs. Sith conflict and explore other areas and actually make an antagonist as dark and interesting as the Sith. Originality is certainly what the SW franchise needs to work on.

Hey, don't forget Aayla Secura.

and the newcomer: Savage Oppress aka Darth Maul's brother. This is why I excited for the second half of Season 3(though the really need to show more Plo Koon and Cad Bane if you ask me).

I know. I'm a total nerd.

The clone wars? You mean that kiddy looking series with the crappy, deformed CGi characters? There are people over the age of 12 who actually like that crap?

I just take one look at the art-direction and I go "NO!"

There are people over 12 who still get up at like 7:00A.M. on Saturday to watch the new super hero cartoons. I stopped question these people long ago.

Did you just describe Karen Traviss as mediocre? Thats a vast overstatement. She made a giant Mandalorian mess of the EU then pissed off without finishing her series when she got called on it.

I agree on the Jedi vs. Sith thing though theres only so many hidden sects and tribes of Sith they can pull out, its already started getting old. They need to cut down on the big galaxy wide disasters and start telling more personal stories along the lines of Shatterpoint.

I think it's very easy to use the Sith has the antagonist when they could just make a new one. But what really agravates me is the fact that the Sith should have been dead after ROTJ. Instead, we have the One Sith. This is sort of why I liked the Yuuzhan Vong even when they weren't that 3 dimensional if you know what I mean.

If it's worth anything, I hear the Thrawn trilogy was pretty good.

This Stars Wars MMO doesnt look promising and BW will prolly take the heat for it's failure.  Noone is going to quit WoW for this, Aion tried that and look where they ended up.  The only promising news this Star Wars mmo has going for it is Blizzard is getting tired of the WoW series.  Any thoughts?

What a sound convincing argument.

/sarcasm

Believe it or not, not everyone likes WoW. I've never touched it and will stick with LotRO.

Part of it probably depends on how important the visual style is to the viewer.  I'm not a particualr fan of the style, but if the story and action are good, then I can deal with it.

Then again, I grew up with rather styleised cartoons, such a Batman TAS.  And if anyone here even thinks of challenging that show's brilliance, I will... I don't know what I'll do, but you won't like it.

I can certainly understand why people don't like the style. That could turn anyone off. All I can say is that everything looks fantastic except the character models themselves.

Star Wars is a huge franchise, and it's far from done, but it needs to adapt. BioWare, to my knowledge, created the first openly homosexual (Think Juhani's still the only one, could be wrong) character in the franchise.

*George Lucas finally sits down to play KOTOR*
