Just imported a Sentinel from ME1 with a full paragon bar and a spacer, sole survivor background. Weirdly, instead of having a fuller paragon than renegade bar, I've got the reverse. Having only played this character upto the Archangel recruitment mission and having chosen the paragon responses for all morality questions thus far, I'm seeming far more renegade than I should be. Anyone ever had this happen to them?

How full was the Renegade Bar?

Barely had anything in it (few points maybe?), certainly not enough for it to register as higher than the paragon bar. S'weird, my last import didn't do this (also uber paragon character), and yet here I am with a load of renegade options available when they ought not to be. Weird thing is that the character import screen when asking me to confirm the details of the imported Shepard stated the character was considered paragon, hence my thought this is a bug of some sort.

Okay so this narrows it down to possible glitches in the ME save file, I've read that exploiting Lorik Qui'in among a few other glithces can affect saves.

But you could still try editing that save with a Save Editor, but it seems more tedious on the 360.

Here is where you could learn more, I've never tried it though, so I can't say more sorry. http://social.biowar...8/index/4836502

http://masseffect.wi...Renegade_Points Here is the mention of the Lorik Qui'in Glitch, I'm surprised this kind of info is not on one page.

Hmmm, I'd heard of the Lorik Qui'in glitch, but I didn't use the exploit (or any other ones), so it can't be that. Think I'll just carry on as I am, and try to rebalance things as I go through this ME2 playthrough. Unless the major decisions I made (rachni, wrex etc) don't show up as they should (all evidence thus far shows those elements to be fine) then I'm better off not messing with the file (which is pretty complicated for all the good it'd do).

It was worth a shot :)

then one last thing you could check could be the ME2 install on the HD and/or try to clear the cache if you would consider re-importing the ME save to see if there was something that may have happened during the import.

otherwise happy hunting

Anyone know how using the Lorik Qui'in glitch affects an import to Mass Effect 2???
