1. Many of us liked the idea of the simulator where we can learn more about the class before we start a game. My viewpoints represented the players who have not finished the game or finished it once but it was nice to see the other responders warm up to that idea
2. Bioware does visit these forums and since they know that my viewpoint represents 90% of players, I've accomplished my mission despite the overwhelming opposition. I really believe that if you (Bioware) allowed players to switch classes, more players would complete the game and many players would enjoy the game more especially the older players (Ray and Steve included)
3. Players who have finished the game with every class, feel that this feature makes absolutely no sense and it should not be added as you can get the same value by replaying the game.
4. 50% of players have completed ME2. My guess is that 10% or less play it through twice.
5. 84% of the folks on this forum have played the game more than 4 times and 65%+ having played it more than 5 times. This explains the response that the post received on this forum which frankly took me by surprise. It turns out that I may have been the only who had played the game once in that thread.
6. The members of this forum are relatively young and less friendy than other forums (the two do not necessarily go together as many young folks are extremely polite and nice) - I'm one of the most active members at another EA forum and I was shocked by the hostility of this forum towards new members (I hope I don't get banned for this)
7. People suggested that those who play the game just once like me and who visit this forum, should stick to FPS games and leave Bioware games alone. They do not understand that the only reason the game is as good is because millions of other players purchased it and shared in the cost. If the game was developed for the players who play it 4+ times, Bioware would never have made Mass Effect.
8. I owe a huge apology to myself for replying to the inflammatory remarks that most of you made which were just trying to get that response from me. I do owe an apology to SSoG for calling him "a half-twitted humanoid", he's hereby restored to a "full-twitted humanoid" like the rest of us, effective immediately. I would even make him a double-twitted humanoid but I don't want risk being banned.
9. I suggested to Pacifien that given the hostile nature of the forums that moderators step in to facilitate the flow of new ideas and to prevent a new member from being attacked/trolled by 30 members. If a reply is rude in nature (particularly mono-syllabic replies), then the person should be banned.
10. I will be deleting my account (I have to wait a week) as a symbolic act of civility leaving these forums. Judging by the number of votes in the older polls to the new ones, civility left this place a long time ago.
